My Background
I am a native English speaker and hold a PhD in Linguistics from the Free University Amsterdam. By training I am a linguist; professionally I am also an Associate Professor of Speech Technology at the University of Groningen. I have authored or co-authored over 100 publications across linguistics, speech technology, and cognitive science, with publications at Brill, Benjamins, Oxford University Press, and Springer. I work across the humanities, social sciences, and STEM, with particular expertise in linguistics, technology, and ethics.

Rates
Fees are charged per word, excluding bibliography and reference lists, at €0.03–€0.06 per word depending on the current quality of the English. A discount applies to longer texts: 10% for texts over 20,000 words, 20% for texts over 50,000 words. Rates for larger texts can be negotiated.
